LORD OF THE DANCE

"Lord of the dance" este unul dintre cele mai vizionate spectacole de dans si mai aclamate turnee din toate timpurile.Premiera a avut loc la Dublin, în 1996, şi a fost un succes de casă. În martie 1997, "Lord of the Dance" a fost prezentat şi la ceremonia de premiilor Oscar.

Michael Ryan Flatley (născut pe 16 iulie, 1958) este un dansator de step irlandez. A început lecţiile de dans la 11 ani, iar în 1975 a fost primul non-european care a câştigat concursul de dans irnalndez All-Ireland World Championship.

În prezent, Flatley are două companii de dans în turneu cu acest spectacol. Una dintre ele performează în SUA, Canada şi America de Sud, iar cealaltă în Europa şi Asia.

Celebrul spectacol "Lord of the Dance", în regia şi coregrafia renumitului Michael Flatley, va fi prezentat pe 5 iunie, la Sala Palatului din Bucureşti, au declarat pentru MEDIAFAX reprezentanţi ai organizatorilor, Asociaţia Culturală de Teatru, Muzică şi Film Dracula.

Potrivit organizatorilor, chiar facă Flatley nu mai performează, acesta ar putea veni la Bucureşti pentru a fi prezent la reprezentaţia show-ului său.
